Thanks for all the support and well wishes!! Our bathroom remodel is done and we couldn't be happier!! Just need to add the wood trim piece to the front edge of the counter top but otherwise, we are done. What do you think?

Love it. I'm remodeling all 3 bathrooms this year myself. I've never done it before but. I'm looking to do our "Mickey" bathroom with the sink/faucet style you've done. I really like it.

Oh, that is just gorgeous! I love your sink so much!

Thanks. I adore that sink. I actually picked it first and planned the remodel around it as the focal point of the room. When we were done I said that it has a very mod, almost "loft-like" appearance now. I dig it so much!:cloud9:

Looks great! I'd love to pull out the old tub and just put a standup shower in ours

Love love love the sink!! It has a very Japanese feel to it. Love the floor tile also. Good job!

Love it - agree that it looks very spa like. Enjoy the new bathroom. I never understood carpet in a bathroom? The floor looks great! Did you extend that into the rest of the bathroom?

Heck yeah! Couldn't stand having carpet near a potty.

We also "made" the mirror. It's a plain beveled edge mirror that we hung and then DH cut moulding for the "frame" and put the moulding end cap squares on each corner to finish it. We stained it to match the cabinets doors and drawers (which DH also made). We will stain the wood trim for the counter edge to match too.

I love the look of these sinks. However, I washed my face in one while staying at a friend's house and managed to get water EVERYWHERE. I guess it takes some getting used to.

Even though this bathroom is the main bathroom downstairs, it is also the guest bathroom. I'm very excited about showing it to my parents when they visit. I just spent a good 20 minutes in there, just staring at it! I'm in love! Maybe I should throw a bathroom warming party? HAHAH!

This really gives me hope that we'll be able to work the same magic on our dated and dilapidated kitchen this summer!

it looks great! love that sink!

definitely not a fan of the carpet in the bathroom... :crazy2:

looks great!

we are in need of redoing both our bath rooms - now I am gonna need that sink! Was it terribly expensive overall? We have one smaller bathroom and then a master to do.

I LOVE the backsplash against the countertop. What is the countertop made of? Did you do all the work yourself?

We have carpet in the master bath and one of my future projects is ripping that stuff out of there and putting in tile. We havee good cabinets but need new countertops and fixtures.

Great new look! :thumbsup2 Our new bathroom floor looks like yours too. It's been a year and I still love it.

That awesome sink was $89 at Lowe's. DH did the plumbing last night and we now have water!! I almost cried when he turned it on...it's so beautiful and it sounds great when the water hits the glass bowl. We got the beautiful faucet for WAY cheaper than the big box hardware stored. Look up Vessel Sink Faucet on Buy.com. Ours was $54 compared to the $100+ everywhere else.

The counter top is made of absolut black granite tiles. They are 12x12 so we used 10 to do the whole counter, and only had to cut 1 inch off each tile to make them fit. Bought them at Home Depot for $8 each. The grout is charcoal colored from Home Depot, and we used the 1/16 size spacers which is the smallest size. You HAVE to use unsanded grout with grout lines that tiny on granite.

We did ALL the work ourselves except the floor. That job was so big and had so many precision cuts that we needed a pro. We hired our employees brother who is an out of work flooring guy and he did the install PERFECTLY for $200 (3 1/2 days work).

The back splash came from Lowes. The tiles came in 12"x12" sheets that were already attached, so we took a razor and cut them into 3 pieces (each 4 tiles wide) and used that as the backsplash. Best of all we were able to return the unused whole sheets to Lowes since we only used 4 out of the box of 10.

I love it, its beautiful, especially the sink. Very cool.
