I used to work at BBW in college and we had to throw out all the returned products after 9/11. Prior to that, if they didn't looked used, they went back on the shelf!

I was in BBW today and they are running the Spa $5 scrub but it's only 1 scrub per Bronze Bombshell purchase. I didn't get the flip flop deal because I really didn't think it was that good. The flip flops were obviously cheaply made and are the type with the rubber straps which can cause a lot of blistering. Inside the bag was a pumice stone and a Shea butter foot lotion. The lotion itself normally retails for $15 and the kit right now is $10, but as a huge beauty product girl who has tried every BBW product under the sun, I don't think the lotion is all that great.

Anyways, that's just my 2 cents! There were also wallflowers and wallflower refills for $6 a piece too!

I can tell you that the iced tea smells EXACTLY like iced tea. You would think you could drink it...

Not sure why they came up with that scent but a friend works there and gets free samples. She says it's actually very pleasant to use.

I love the iced tea!!! It makes me thirsty, smells so much like actual tea. I think the 3-in-1 smells a little more like actual iced tea than the lotion, but both great! I got my order yesterday. I love the madras bag, very cute!

Hmmmm, I refuse to dumpster dive, (even if I wanted to, who has time?)but just wondering what's in their trash?
Don't they have to squirt it all out? But that would defeat the purpose.... right?

I just worked there at Christmas and not everything goes into the trash. They ask the customer if it was used. If it wasn't SOME things can be sold. I know in NY soap can not be resold. Maybe it varies by state law.

If anything looked used or tampered with it goes in the trash.

Just went to the site and the code 5533 is still giving me a free after tan lotion but the other perks seem to be gone (like the $5.00 scrub if you bought a bronze something or other and the buy one get one free lemon wash). For a short time today I thought I was going to get a free pineapple candle if I spent 25.00 too but now it has disappeared. Oh well it was fun while it lasted. I am sure you guys will figure something new out!

My 1st order was shipped by UPS didn't get picked up until the 19th, Stayed in Louisville, Ky all yesterday and now is stuck in Lexington, KY.

Hope i get it by next month....

Now my second order (it's a smaller one) was sent through postal service and is here in Frederick. (I'll probably get in tomorrow's mail)

I went into the BBw in mall here and they still had the totes left I got two orders just to get two totes even at $25 each there were wayyy to cute to not get. I got the flip flop deal, the eye wrinkle stuff, BOGO free lemon scrub, the pedi set for $25 and 2 free Iced Tea tempations.

The lotions had to be squirted out otherwise people would go through the dumpsters find the products and try to return them. We also had to write something on them in black sharpie.

I placed my first order on 4/14 and got it today 4/20. Woo Hoo. The Madras bag was so cute. I have been carrying it around ever since. I love love love it. I just took a shower with the Daquiri 3 in 1. Boy do I smell good. I am sure glad I order another of the Daquiri 3 in 1. I am hiding them they are all mine.

As much as I adore the madras tote, I am selling mine (placed 6 orders) on ebay. I looked again and they are going from $15-25. That will make most of my orders totally free. I cant beat that. I have gift bags and can make gift baskets cheaper. KWIM? I just cant believe they are going for so much on ebay...I dont get it!

I made a total of 3 orders with this special. One of them came earlier this week and I didn't pay it too much attention because I got 2 packages ( one was freebie from McGruff crime dog) that day & was waiting to open this weekend. Really cute stuff and great deal. I got 4 antibacterial gels ($10) the 3 in 1 and tote for about $18. Would pay more than that in store for just gels.

Also, in my order was a coupon to be used between 5/15 and 6/3 for temptations or signature body lotion free with $10 purchase. I am blind as a bat even with my glasses but looks like code is 5680. Now if someone can remind everyone on the 15th, we'll be set. I would offer but along with my eyesight, my memory is going too.

Wow I didnt know they threw away returned products. What a waste! Thanks also for the info about the Flipflops...they look really cute on the website though and so I wanted them. I dont know why I keep wanting stuff I already have! I really have to control these splurges

WOW! Just got two of my orders in!! Four more to go! Hee hee. I didnt realize the Madras tote had a $7 lipgloss inside of it. Great color! Now I am not sure I will sell my totes...might have to keep them for the gloss!!

The lemon stuff smelled YUMMY!! Cant wait to try it out.
