Hello there,

Does anyone know if any of the WDW stroller companies rent lie-flat bassinet strollers?

We’ll be heading there in October with a 3 month old and I would prefer a lie-flat bassinet attachment (like a baby jogger pram or similar) over a car seat carrier for the stroller. Plus, it’s one less thing to fly with.

My internet rental company searches haven’t turned up anything yet, so I figured I’d try you guys :)

Thanks!

I would try kingdom strollers, even if the website does not have a picture they might have one.

Tried Kingdom Strollers - no dice. I’ll just have to email alllll of the companies to ask if they offer anything of the sort.

Also had never heard of babyquip, so I’ll keep an eye on that as well! Thanks!

How are you planning on getting around the parks? If by bus you will have to take the child out of the bassinet, remove the bassinet from the base and fold the stroller. I used an uppa baby for several years with my daughter. Although we brought the stroller to Disney we never brought the bassinet. The seat does almost lay back flat and when she was younger we would use that instead.

We don’t have those details planned out yet, but I’m assuming by bus. At this point, we’re leaning towards just bringing ours - it folds completely flat, so it’s not a big deal to fold it along with the stroller.

Our stroller seat lays almost completely flat too, but with our baby being only 3.5 months old at that point we’d be more comfortable (and think he’d be more comfortable and cooler) with him completely flat for naps and whatnot.

we did a 4 month old and she used stroller with a real close to flat seat sharing a double with big sister. she did great and slept very well in stroller. we were there in August and very hot. she and mom did not do well with carrier as it was too hot. plus with the bassinet when folding stroller to get on bus you would have to carry that plus baby and the stroller itself. do not think you would be allowed to carry baby in just the bassinet part, not sure this would even be possible. make sure yours can fold flat on stroller. also remember folded strollers have to be carried up steps of bus not loaded by way of ramp that is used for wheelchairs/ECVs

Yes, we know we’ll have to carry the stroller. A flat bassinet in addition to it won’t be a problem. Our stroller is very light and my husband will be able to carry it no problem :)
