We are hoping to secure a grand villa at Riviera at the 7th month mark. Does anyone have advice for room location request? Would absolutely love a view of the fireworks!

I believe all GVs are considered preferred view and face the lake so none of them would have the parking lot/epcot view. You can always catch the fireworks form the bar area outside of Topolinos if you want to watch from by resort.

Here is our view from 2023 when we were in room 8606 on the 6th floor.
We had requested to be on the pool side (east closer to the quick service and such) but when we went to check in they put us in this room to keep us all on the same floor as the rest of the family we were traveling with. now that I've stayed in the west side GV I'd say I rather like them. I think the key benefit is that there is a bank of stairs just next to the GV in that small hallway in front of your room that you can easily use to get out and it will drop you right near the Skyliner for a quick run to the parks in the AM for rope drop (see red box in the image below where you will exit the stairs).
You might get a okay view from the last guest room but if you have a large party I doubt it would be an enjoyable spot to view the fireworks. That room at the very end has a spot where you should be able to see parts of Epcot (see green box).
