Basic tickets & kids questions

I'm sorry for this crazy question, always used magic bands so I'm feeling lost without them!
So, I buy tickets from UT. I then link them to MDE, correct?
I've got 5 teenagers. How do they get their tickets on their phones? Do they also get the MDE app and login under my user name?
And we can add our room keys and room charging privileges to all our phones too?

Do you still have your old magic bands? They can still work. We still use them as it just seems easier than pulling out the phone all the time.

No idea about the phone- sure someone with more knowledge can chime in!

As far as tix, you can add them to your apple wallet via the magic mobile and I'm pretty sure anyone you share tix with will have to be in your contacts but not 100% sure. I used magic mobile for tix one time but did not share them. I also know that you can also load the tix on to an apple watch but again, have no experience sharing. We prefer to use our magic bands to spare our phone batteries. As far as MDE, you can have them set up their own MDE or you can all share yours, it's entirely up to you. I've not used Magic Mobile to charge to our room but I presume it works the same way as the tix however there may be some controls on that for sharing.

And yes, your MDE app can use your phone to unlock your disney resort.
