Basel hotels recs?

We are doing the Rhine next summer and looking at different hotel options for our pre-night. anyone have any feedback good or bad on the hotels there?

We stayed at the Hotel Basel. It's centrally located in the Old Town, near sights, shopping and restaurants and it's reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide a pass to use public transportation and there is a refrigerator stocked with free beer, soda and snacks. They left a bedtime story in the room each night, which was rather charming. If I were going to Basel, I would stay there again.

If you are coming in more than 1 night prior, you might want to fly into Zurich and stay there. It's an easy train ride to Basel.

there are so many websites which will provide you information about the which hotels is comfortable for you for ex. makemytrip,tripadvisor etc.
