Barnstormer or No Barnstormer..

We took my daughter on it in September when she was 29 months and she loved it. Cracked up the whole time. Which was probably all of 15 seconds. ;)

On this past trip in February she still loved it. Since there was no wait, we ended up going on it 5 times in a row and she would have went more. That was probably one of my favorite memories of this trip, seeing her giggling the whole time was just the best; you could just see she was so proud of herself for going on a roller coaster.

My DGD turned 3 in January and is small for her age. Was just 35" when we went in December. She LOVED it!! We went back in February and had to ride it at least 7 or 8 times. My only suggestion is to keep an arm around anyone small as it does jerk around. It only lasts like 2 minutes, one of the fastest rides I was ever on.

Our youngest was 22 months when he rode it for the first time. He loved it! We rode it three times in a row without a wait. I just put my arm behind him so that if his head went backwards it would bounce off my arm and not the back of the seat. When he rode it I felt completely comfortable with his size. I didn't feel like he was too small to ride it safely.

Each kid is different. What one finds thrilling, another finds scary. Some like the sensation of their tummies dropping, others hate it. Good luck deciding! :daisy:

We took my dd when she was almost 3. She loved it. She went on it again 3 times and by the 3rd time she did the entire thing no handed!

I would probably wait another year. It is fast and a little jerky. You don't want her to be afraid of going on it in subsequent trips if she has a bad experience on it the first time. But you know your child best!:)

My dd2 rode it our past trip and it was her favorite ride! She went on some kiddie coasters before and I thought she would like it and she did. You know your child best. There were some little ones on there that we scared to death crying, but most seemed to get off with big smiles and loving it. My dd wanted to go on over and over again. It is less than a minute long, so if your dd ends up not liking it it does end very quickly. It is kinda fast and I held on to my dd because I was terrified she would slip out since the lap bar only came down to my lap and there was big gap between her and the bar. She screamed and laughed the whole time. It is one of her favorite rides. :)

My DD was 2 1/2 when she first rode the Barnstormer and instantly loved it. It's one of her favorite rides but I think it depends on the child. It does move fast but it's over pretty quickly.
