Barenaked Ladies kids' CD "Snacktime"

does anyone else have this cd ? My kids love it... they especially like "Popcorn" and "789".

I like the adult humor and the fact that it isn't playing down to kids.

Not yet. We're buying our copy in two weeks when they are in the area and doing a signing at a local book store.

My son is a huge BNL fan, though.

We're huge BNL fans and the kids like a lot of the songs (like Million dollars and Maybe Katie). We just ordered the CD and I can't wait to get it. Glad to hear you're enjoying it!

My kids (DS3/DD3) love it!! My wife and I were huge fans back in the day so we enjoy it as well.

They actually came to a local Barnes and Nobel played a short concert and did a signing of the CD and book. I couldn't make it But my wife and kids loved it!!

Some people don't get it when my son tells them that he saw barenaked ladies last week.

DS3 loves "Here Come the ABC's" by They Might Be Giants, so we'll have to be on the lookout for the BNL cd (along w/Here Come the 123's). I'm so glad kid's music isn't as boring as it used to be .

I ordered it from Wal-Mart . com this evening after listening to 789 a couple of times - absolutely hysterical! Especially because when I was a kid, I assigned personalities to numbers and 7 was a "mean" number (actually, all the odd numbers were kind of mean, but that's a conversation for another time).

I *love* BNL so hopefully DD can catch on now too!
