Would you actually use these? As a guy, I can't see using tape to hold things in place.

The Bare Lifts kind of freak me out.

I have used a Nu Bra from Nordstrom before though, with certain dresses for weddings and whatnot. Similar concept (I think), just not quite as simple as a big piece of tape like the Bare Lifts.

Nope. I can't use tapes as I tend to have skin allergies to the glue. Plus, there are times when justa simple piece of tape isn't going to hold anything.

I tried them! What a joke. I was in my cousin's wedding last year and you couldn't wear a bra (with or without straps) with this particular dress. I bought them to try out before the actual wedding and it looked so weird (and the tape didn't hold). The biggest problem is that even though the tape is "invisible" you can still obviously see it so if you're wearing anything low-cut (which these dresses were) you could see the top of the tape from where you have to pull up your ****. I never thought I'd use the words "pull up your ****" on the DIS .

I wasn't doing it to make my chest look great, I just wanted some support which didn't happen. I ended up going with another product that didn't include tape or pulling of anything :).

Tee-hee. Obviously you haven't been backstage at too many pageants or dance recitals: tape city. It keeps things from bouncing too much and keeps your costume firmly where it is supposed to be. The stuff made for the purpose is called wardrobe tape, but I've seen folks use medical tape and even gaffer's tape in a pinch -- which is what happens when you try to remove it! Gaffer's tape has really STRONG adhesive; sometimes you have to use mineral spirits to get it off.

I didn't know what they were so I looked them up:

And then my ****ies laughed at them. There is NO way they would work on my gals.

ETA: I have used wardrobe tape to keep clothes from sliding around, though. It is great for holding things like tank tops or low-cut blouses in place.

First off, I did a search and the women on the boxes & in the ads look like they are just naturally lopsided, poor dears. I can't imagine any of these products working on anything above a natural B, all other sizes would never be tamed unless a girl is really young with really good genetics.

For the record I would never ever even begin to entertain the idea that something like that could work for me. It would be obscene, I can't even do a bra less bathing suit:scared: Like Stacie says on "What not to wear", LOCK & LOAD;)

OMG!!!:rotfl2: I almost spit my water out this was so funny. I can't even imagine putting those things on and expecting them to hold. Poor dears (LMAO!!!!):rotfl:

Oh my goodness. I have a fairly small chest and still.. all I can think is OUCH!:scared:

Bare Lifts sound like a great concept, but what about your nipples showing through your tops because they are not covered?

As a guy, I can't imagine what that would be like, but it sounds waaaay to painful!

They (not the people that make Bare Lifts) make things for nipples too! :rotfl: It's like a nude thicker "pasty". I actually do use those often as they are self adhesive and not at all cumbersome or visible. Mainly when I wear sports bras running or to the gym as...well...let's just say I need them  (unless I'm looking for "that" type of guy while at the gym or running  ;) ).

Meh... who cares? I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't understand why people get hung up about stuff like this. Same thing goes for seeing cleavage. It's not like we don't all know what's there... it's not like the reaction is going to be "Oh my gosh! Look! That woman has breasts!" ... like it's some big secret.
