Wow, some of these lists makes me wonder if all those strollers are truly for kids or just hauling stuff around the Park.
For a day in the Park, this list posted above just about covers it:
Money/cc
Cell phone
Camera
Lipbalm
Bottle of water
I would add:
ID
a few advil in a ziplock bag shoved in a pocket
trail mix or a little "munchie" of choice if you want something other than park snacks.
That's it.
A few notes:
- Extra batteries for camera, depends upon what kind your camera needs (AA vs. rechargeable)
- Sunscreen - put it on before. If you easily burn, the above mentioned clip-on bottle is great (they sell travel-size too)
- Hand-sanitizer - I just don't get it. We went EVERYWHERE as a kid and didn't worry about hand-sanitizer. I think we are just raising a generation of kids who have no anti-bodies to anything. If you MUST have it, I guess it's yours to find an empty pocket somewhere.
