Emma, first off Congrats on your engagement ! I just caught up and am excited for your journey. My DH and I were engaged 2 years to the date before we got married and the time just flew by, so the big day will be here before you know it!!! Just another note, I order the Disney vacation planning dvd every year 2 and know all the words... I wish they would start to change it up a bit!! Anywho can't wait to hear more and oh yeah my DH and I will be in Disney almost the same time as you guys in Dec we are going the 16th -23rd, so a small overlap. We are really excited to see Disney around Christmas time!! yay Subbing!!

Just noticed your signature & our July'09 trips overlapped too! I was at the Yacht Club with DF's family July 9th-23rd... I love all of the crescent lake resorts, but particularly the Boardwalk as it's our DVC 'home'

My DH and I bought our DVC on our Disneymoon and our home resort is BLT!! however our first vacation as DVC members we stayed at Boardwalk and loved it. We are going back to Disney in Oct for Food and Wine and Dec for Christmas and Dec will be the first time to stay at our home resort... oops. But I loved Beach Club and Boardwalk when we stayed, I absolutely love the convenience to the parks and the views.

Hi all!

apologies again for no updates lately.. my exam is on Thursday so after that I'll be free!

Had a quiet but nice weekend - unusually warm here in England this weekend (80 degrees +!) so I've been able to sit out in the garden and revise

Something I thought I'd share... to say thankyou for taking my sister to the airport for her trip to Florida, she bought me a little gift..

A Yeti from EE!! I've always meant to buy one but usually after EE I don't stop to look in the gift shop properly; but now I have one of my own!

How sweet of her!! That looks very similar to the Yeti backpack that I got for Heidi during our March/April trip. It was clearance for something like $9.99!! And I got my AP discount off of that! The Yeti backpack was big enough for Heidi to slip her stuffed Nemo inside! She was all ready to go on EE since Max went over and measured her on the stick and found she was just tall enough! But lines were WAY too long and all FP's were gone. Next trip I promised her she could go. She wants me to go, but I won't do it! DH will have to take her. He's been on it before.

Thank you! yes my exam was fine.. nothing unexpected so I think I did okay... fingers crossed!
The Cima syllabus just changed for this sitting so I think the examiners didn't want to throw in any questions that were too tricky?!
3.5 hour exam was a looong time to be writing though! luckily I had 'celebrate you' and 'Horizons' theme tune stuck in my head

After the exam I went shopping and to the Disney Store (in southampton) and bought a card for my sister's bday... at the counter the CM noticed my mickey bracelet & tinkerbell watch... we got chatting & after a while she said "wow, you really are a fan, aren't you!?"

It's so nice not to be studying this weekend! DF & I went out for a meal last night and I'm hoping to get some wedding planning done

So, now that I've finished revising for my accounting exam, I had time to put together my Save the Date cards!!

It took a couple of hours to stick on all the decoration but I loved doing it


Given a few out to friends but not posted the majority out yet.. decided to wait until after June 18th.. just in case someone thinks we're getting married this year?!

I went to London yesterday with DF & his family - while shopping on Oxford Street, I noticed a shop that had Mickey silhouettes all over the windows, it was a Uniqlo store - and I remembered that was where DISer Stefy gets some of her lovely disney tshirts!
FMiL had noticed my eyes light up at the Mickeys in the shop windows so suggested we went in, lol.

I bought a vest top & scarf ready for this December's trip!...

I am so pleased with them, prices seemed very reasonable (top was £15 and scarf was £7) - and so unusual to find Disney branded clothes like this in England!

NYC & WDW trip udate
Through the December 2010 thread I found out that you can make ADRs up to 190 days in advance on the new system, while it's in Beta mode at least!

So even though my 'official' ADR day isn't until Monday 14th.. I've been able to make some reservations for our trip!

Friday night, we had a mini Disney planning party..

While DF enjoyed the snacks (my sister brought them back for me last month!), he wasn't too worried about choosing ADRs.. he said "you do the planning, I'll do the eating" - which is fine because I'd already made a vague plan of where I thought we'd eat on this trip!
He did request Teppan Edo though for our night in Epcot - I've eaten there on my last three trips but love it, so I think it's a good choice!

Once I've got our full list of ADRs I'll post them

So far all I've got accomplished is a venue, cake baker, and I've set up a meeting with a florist in a couple of weeks I need to get with the program! I did alot of research before Miguel and I got engaged (yes, I was one of those girls!) so now I'm kind of lacking things to research. Now it's more about just contacting the vendors - but between work and school it's hard to find the time!

I'm not planning on a PJ, but I will be making an "announcement" at the end of my TR about our honeymoon! (Of course a PTR will follow!)
