We LOVE fedex around here. Todd just loves those 14 hour days He cannot wait to get on vacation and NOT have to deliver packages in Boston everyday from 6 AM - 7 PM!

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is my favorite movie. I love it. I have probably watched it 104395069 times. I just began reading your pre-trip report. Thanks for replying to mine, or I may not have known about yours. I love your pictures. You and your BF look so cute together and that is the cutest little dog!!! My DH and I have a cute little dog, too. So, I'm partial to them.
I am so glad that you provided us with so much background to your story. I definitely can see how it would help us understand. I really respect your parents for stepping in and helping your BF by taking him in. That says a lot about them.
You are going to have a GREAT TIME at WDW!!! I still feel so excited each time I go and you never forget your first trip there.
My DH and I stayed at POP on our last trip. We really liked it. I was so excited when I found out that we had the building where the big statue of Lady from "Lady and the Tramp" stands. In fact, when I opened my door, she was right there!

I'm really enjoying yours and I can't believe that we'll be at Pop at the same time for several days. I'll have to look out for you.

Wanted to also say that my dh and I started dating our sophmore year in HS. I was 15 and he was 16. We just celebrated 12 yrs together and we'll be celebrating our 9 yr wedding anniversary in April.

Well our Honeymoon wasn't the most exciting.. Being DH first time to Disney he was kind of a stick in the mud. I mean don't get me wrong he loved the rides... but he didn't want to do the Mouse ears, and we really didn't know the things that were available to us. My Boss and his Wife at the time actually set up the trip. We just forked over the $$. We shared a room, which stunk.We stayed at the Disney Institute (it's no longer there ) We didn't take advantage of it like we could of, so it's like a if I only knew then what I know now type of thing. Maybe I can convince him to do our vows again on our 10th anniversary or something Not sure if I will do a trip report. I don't think I am clever enough. We will see. I did the exact same thing 2 weeks ago when my Passporter came in!! I have never read a book that fast!! I love the Passporter, DBF thought I was crazy because when it came in the mail finally I started screaming and got all excited...he didnt understand (but secretly likes it too) I will have a whole section on that in my pre trippie when I get the time to write another installment.

hahaha! God I love that passporter! This kind of reminds me of last night. Me and Todd had just finished eating dinner (we enjoy eating cross legged on the our bed in front of the tv - oh so romantic huh? ) and I said - WANT TO HEAR OUR ITINERARY? And he says "I've heard it 100 times" so I said "Okay Mr. Smarty - well what are we doing on the second day then? YA THATS WHAT I THOUGHT" and I grabbed the passporter and read to him all the descriptions of the restaurants and showed him pictures and such. I think he fell asleep with his eyes open! Why cant they be as excited as we are! Cant wait to read the "passporter installment"! Talk to you later!

She politely proceeded to ask us where we were going. Now I understand that she wasn't really INTERESTED in where we were going. I mean I work at Joanns Fabrics and BELIEVE ME I DO NOT CARE WHAT ANY OF THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING .. but do I ask them - OF COURSE! So I guess the woman got more then she bargained for when I began to tell her we were going to Disney World, it was our first time, I'd never even been on an airplane, I was so excited, and so on - you get the picture! By the end she was just incessantly nodding and smiling when I knew she was really saying "Okay you crazy girl. Please take your oversized red suitcase and leave the premise. Thank you!"

I, too, never thought I would join the masses in buying those hideous looking things for my kids.....until I saw the new Disney Crocs on Crocs.com . That sold me! Instead of round holes, they are shaped like mickey mouse heads and in the Disney colors. Too cute!

Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! Last week I had midterms and I have kind of been swamped with all different things - preparing for the trip/school/college stuff/work etc. ANYWAYS.

15 DAYS!

Technically it is only 14 days and a WAKE UP! I couldn't be more excited. I have been sleeping, eating, and living this trip! I just cant stop thinking about it. I even dream about it at night! Todd and I went out to lunch the other day and thats when it finally hit him! We were sitting in Friendlys, I was ATTEMPTING to tell him about our trip and our ADR's. Our conversation went a little like this :

Me: So we have some pretty jampacked days, Im going to have to do a little tweaking to the schedule so that we can get some rest in. Does that sound good? Yeah it does sound good huh? What would you do without me planning the trip? I love planning trips. I can't wait to go to Disney. So we have this ADR and its in the park, but I don't really want to eat there so I think I will change it to a restaurant at a resort. Oh boy I can't wait to go to Disney! What do you think about our first day? Do you want to just shop all day or do you want to go to DisneyQuest too? Because I mean DisneyQuest looks pretty cool - they have this BUILD YOUR ROLLERCOASTER THING AND IT JUST SOUNDS ...
Todd: Babe?
Me:Yes babe? (don't gag this is what we REALLY call each other. I don't think Todd has ever even called me by my name)
Todd: Did you know we're going to Disney?
:Me blankface staring at him:
Todd: :grasping my hand: WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY! THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!
Me: Umm.. did you hear any of the stuff I just said ...

So he finally started to get excited! Now everytime I bring it up he actually tries to listen. Although his motto is "Lets just get there and see what happens!" Mine is "Lets be a little more structured then that so we dont get lost and starve to death!" Although ask the poor boy where we are going on what day and he will just get this confused look on his face and say "Who cares? WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY!" Basically he just wants some sort of vacation away from his 14 hrs a day delivering FedEX packages in the hub of Boston! Little does he know that we will be having 14 hr days jampacked with fun!

After Todd's "Lunch of Reckoning" at Friendly's we went shopping! I bought a bunch of stuff for the trip - lots of tank tops and capris (although I hear weather in Florida is PRETTY cold right now, so I hope that changes! CROSS YOUR FINGERS! ) I have also been buying scrapbook stuff hear and there. I have been to Target, Ac Moore, Joanns and also got a BUNCH of stuff from the envelope exchange I did on the community board on here!
Here is what I have so far -

I also have a TON of Disney scrapbook paper and disney - ish scrapbook stuff such as animal stuff for animal kingdom and movie stuff for mgm and country stuff for Epcot and MAGICAL STUFF for MK!! I cant wait to go to the scrapbook store at Downtown Disney!

I have made some changes to my ADR's and Itinerary!
Today I got rid of our ADR at Tony's Town Square and added Kona Cafe instead -( thanks to Jaycns and a handful of other diser's) The lady I talked to at Disney Dining was probably the sweetest lady ever. She confirmed ALL my ADR's and canceled Tony's and added Kona all in a matter of minutes! I gave her rave reviews on the survey! Kona should be VERY yummy! Im very excited about this ADR! VERY EXCITED ! I wish we were staying at the Poly! But for now POP will have to do! So here is our ADR's now :

Feb 21 Epcot/Cirque/AK EMH or Hotel for sleep
Feb 22 Mini Golf/MK

So there it is and I am DONE revising. I THINK! The only other revisions will be done spur of the moment at Disney if need be. Hopefully it stays the way it is!

Our money jar is getting pretty heavy -

$113.27!! YAY! I hope to get to at LEAST $125.00 by the time we leave. I was HOPING we could hit $130.00 but you kind of have to SPEND money to get change! Although I do hassle my mom and sister for change everyday!

Let me tell you that Todd sounds just like my DH. He just sits back and lets me do all of the planning. I ramble on and on and he just looks at me and says, "Ah ha, ah ha, Yeah, whatever you want honey!" Then as the day closely approaches he asks questions and listens a little. For our vacation the only request he has made is that I make at least one charcater breakfast, so I booked Ohana's. Do you know what? I like it that way, I get to plan it exactly the way I like it and he just follows along. He is the greatest!

I am so jealous, I wish my trip was here, but not much longer and WDW here we come!

Blayne, I think we are some sort of twins separated at birth! I read your pre trippie and I am like, "this is my life" haha. I could talk hours on end to DBF about Disney plans and he will just give a simple "that is nice" or a head nod. Then it makes me scream "AREN'T YOU EXCITED AT ALL????" I know he is, but he just much less vocal about it, so I can relate...I am glad Todd is showing some excitement!! Oooh and all that scrapbook stuff made my mouth water! I have the same Mickey stickers from the Target Dollar Spot. I love scrapbooking Disney trips!! I swear I spend more money of Disney scrapping supplies then I do on the actual trip, it is such an obsesssion Well anyways, ARENT YOU EXCITED??...14 DAYS!! That is 2 weeks!! I agree with you completely! I LOVE that Todd is letting me plan everything. He took care of the PAYING FOR THE TRIP part and also the BOOKING the trip. He accompanied me to the travel agents and picked up various tickets here and there. He booked our flights and such. However, everything was up to me! I love that. I booked all the ADR's I wanted, but made sure that there was something on the menu that he would order. Now since its so soon he wants to know a LITTLE about it but mostly he is just excited for the trip to come! Im just glad I got to do everything MY way!

Its so much fun to see you so pumped up for your
mouse visit. There is nothing like that first time..
entering the MK and walking on main street. The first
view of the castle will send chills down your spine..
Magical, truly magical. I can vividly recall our first
visit and it was wonderful! No doubt you are going
to love everything about disney since your already
obsessed and you have never experienced it! When
you view those monorail resorts, I bet you will want
to stay at one of those on a future trip. Cirque is
such a unique show. We absolutely loved it! The
anticipation is really half the fun. Can't wait to read
