Hi Barb,
DD has requested that I post a question to you (she considers you to be the guru of such topics!)
When riding at Cozumel on the DCL excursion what are the stirrups like? She is "insisting" that she has to take her riding boots unless the stirrups are enclosed at the front so a foot can not slide through. I'm suggesting for this that her tennis shoes will be fine!
Also any thoughts you have on helmet and pants. My thought is that for this one ride she can go without her helmet and that jeans or breaches will be far too warm in June. Can one ride (comfortably) in shorts? Or would lightweight pants be better.
I tried telling her that riding in Mexico doesn't have to be up to the same standards as when she is at lessons or the ranch she spends time at in Michigan! But in this area she is more versed than I am. But has agreed to bow to your wisdom!
TIA!
Deb
