Did anyone have special martini's at their reception? I wanted to have apple martini's available but I was told I would be charged $7.50/drink. That's in addition to the open bar option. Anyone have any insight?

we were told the same thing for a custom drink - a blue lagoon, that we wanted at the reception. we nixed the idea due to the excess cost over the bar tab. no one including us missed it with all the other drinks we all had.

What is the cost for an open bar? Is there a limited option for just beer and wine, or just the liquor, but not both? We are having a 1:00 reception and we aren't sure if having a bar at all is important at that time of day.

Yes, there is an option for just beer and wine! Im not sure if there is one with just liquor, but you can always ask! I think for an afternoon wedding, beer and wine would be a good choice!
