Banshee availability in Pandora?

OK, I'll bite. Just...what is a banshee? I googled and saw the post and pics on the Disney Parks Blog. But what's so cool about them that people wait so long and pay so much? (Just being prepared because I think YDS might want one. And he's saved a good bit of money, so if I think he'll like it, I'll steer him that way.)

Banshees are puppets that sit on your shoulder and you can control their head (mouth), neck and wing movements from a hidden cable or "leash" in your hand. For kids they look like a cool fake pet (dragon like). They come in about 10 color varieties.

As far as I know they are quite unique for Disney souvenirs
and some parents buying them for their kids were jealous of their own kids for getting them. (Seem a little large for a kid's shoulder).

They are an extremely clever toy. The banshee perches on your shoulder. You put a curved metal form on your shoulder, under your shirt. The banshee has a magnet that securely clamps on the metal form, and your shirt holds it in place. My daughter will not wear tank tops now, because her banshee won't stay properly! There is a bit of balancing involved.
Then, you position a black cord behind your back, and operate the manual control with the hand that is opposite of the banshee. Once you get the hand of it, the banshee looks to be moving by itself.
The control allows the banshee to flare it's pretty wings, turn it's head, and open it's mouth and emit a low cry. The batteries are for the sound - everything else is manual.

My 9 year old daughter takes hers everywhere (including church!) and it's always a conversation piece. I think she likes to talk to people, and this gives her an easy way. But, we were thinking of having a shirt made for her that says:
It's not a dragon
It's not a bird
It's not a dinosaur

IT'S A BANSHEE!!!
