Banking transferred points

I am a DVC owner who has recently had 130 points transferred into my account (after being promised by MS that I could bank them). When I called on Tuesday to bank them I was told 'you can't bank transferred points'. I told them that you could and, after checking with a supervisor, she came back and said she would have to do a 'manual adjustment' and to check the next day.

I called back last night and the points are still showing in my current UY but the lady I spoke with (a different one) said it can sometimes take a few days for a manual adjustment to go through the system. Has anyone had any experience with this. Please tell me I haven't got 130 useless points in my account :rolleyes:
 
Manual adjustments, if they are for transfers or anything else, do indeed take 3-5 days to accomplish. I think that's because they give these "problems" to a select special few MS castmenbers to solve. That means they don't have to train all the little pion phone answering people to do the difficult stuff. It makes sense in the long run, because I think we have all had those little "pions" mess us up once in awhile.
 
Allow a few days. I had a manual adjustment made to my account due to an error one time and it showed up correctly in about 3 days.
 
I am not surprised that you initially got bad info regarding banking. Same thing happened to me. Yes, it will all work out, but it is a shame that this has to be a "problem."
 

I had that happen once. A friend transferred some of her BCV points to me to reserve BWV at 7 months. We wanted a standard view and it was available but they made me wait a day while it was done manually. Luckily I was still able to get it.
