My use year is October. I am looking to go away in Feb. That means I am using my 2006 points. I can book 11 months out if the points will be there?? What I am trying to ask is, the points have to be in your account for when you are actually travelling, but may not be in the account when you book. Hope that makes sense

As long as your account will have access to the points at the time of the reservation, you can reserve thru MS.

For a Home Resort reservation for February, 2007 - you could have made the reservation in March, 2006 using the points you will have available in October, 2006.

Enjoy! :)

Points are not "deposited" into your account when your use year starts. They are already there to be used according to the use year of your stay. You can always borrow a year ahead of the use year your stay is in, regardless of the date you make the reservation. For all intents and purposes, your account has the points for the remainder of your contract (2042 or 2054), you never have to wait for points to be "deposited". You just look at the use year your date of stay is in, you can use those points, banked points from the year before or borrowed points from the year following.
