Banking Points

I have never had to bank points but we are skipping Disney for a few years to do other things so plan to bank our 2018 points. Our use year is October so when is the latest that we will have to bank our 2018 points. Also, when would we need to use them by? My understanding is that once the banked points expire, they are gone.

Oct 2018 points need to be banked by May 31, 2019, and will become 2019 points that expire Sept 30, 2020 and can not be re-banked.

You have until the last day of May to bank any bankable points.
If you bank Oct 2018 UY points, they will need to be used for a reservation with a check out date on or before October 1, 2020.

Michael, I think you are off by 1 year.
2018 points need to be used by Sept 2019, when you bank them, that shifts it out 1 year, so use by Sept 30, 2020
