Could someone explain "banking points" ?

How many years worth can you bank?

What are the timeframes for banking points?

How long can you have points banked before you have to use them?

You can bank your current use year points into the next use year. They then must be used in that use year; they cannot be banked beyond that; also once banked they cannot be brought back to the current use year. You have until the end of the 6th month of your current use year to bank all of your points from the current use year into the next (thus if you have a Feb use year you have until the end of July). You can bank up to 50% by the end of your 9th month and 25% by the end of your tenth. Those are cumulative totals -- if you bank 50% or more by the end of your sixth month, you cannot bank anymore at the 9 month point because you have already reached 50%; if you bank 25% or more by the end of your 9th month, you can't bank anymore in the 10th month because you have already reached your 25% limit for that month.
