Banking and Online Reservations Question

I'm getting ready to book HHI for next summer, and I have a question. My plan is to book online on Monday. As I was playing around with availability today, I noticed a statement that makes me wonder if I need to call MS beforehand. This is the statement:
If you need to bank Vacation Points in order to book a specific Resort, this needs to be done before you can book online.
I am planning on banking all of my 2012 points and using most of my 2013 points. So can I not bank online as I make my reservation? Do I need to call MS this weekend to bank my points before making my reservation online on Monday?

You can bank on-line, but would need to do that separately before making your reservation.
