Here's a question:

I'm trying to buy 175 at BWV. We'd also like to ensure that we can spend a night or two here or there at BCV so our kids can use the pool. So let's say hypothetically that we buy 25 points later at BCV giving us 200 total. They're the same UY. I know that Disney will let us bank based on the total number of points, but do they remember where they came from? So if I bank 25 Beach Club points into the next year, but use the BWV, will I have 50 the next year at BCV because they remember where they came from? Am I even making any sense? :rotfl2:

Okay, in my head that's a totally clear question, but maybe it's only as clear as mud. I ask you please to do the best you can if you understand the question.

Thanks!

I think I understand what you're asking...

When you have contracts at two different resorts you can specify which contract to use when you're making a reservation. (Provided, of course, that you're not using the 11 mo booking window, therefore the points for the other resort aren't available).

Put a different way, if you're making a reservation you get to choose which points to use from the points you have available at that time.

Now... let's hope someone else makes it clearer. :earboy2:

Yes. In one year, you can use the 25 BCV points that were banked, the current year's BCV and borrow the next years 25 BCV, so you can make a ressie worth 75 points at BCV 11 months in advance, with those points.

Yes, banked points always retain their home resort identification.
