Banking after direct purchase

if I purchase points now for December 2024 UY

can I bank the points into 2025 UY even though the banking deadline has passed?

need a small contract and have grown tired of waiting for resale...

Generally, yes. Confirm with your gude, but this is a very common exception. I recall that is written explicitly into the governing documents, but as a "may" not a "must".

Yes. They have been doing courtesy banking after direct purchases by contacting member services.

Yes, they did this for me a couple of months ago so I think it’s pretty stabdard

Yes. It’s even included in the home resort rules and regulations that they do it!

Yep, for sure. Tell your Guide you want to do that and they'll handle it quickly.

We have an Oct UY, so less than 3 weeks before our UY resets and several months past the banking deadline, and they just banked our 2024 pts this morning from a small add-on.

And then I immediately modified an upcoming reservation to use the banked 2024 pts to free up the 2025 pts from another contract. Very easy.

I have done it multiple times. Twice on November 30th. I would note the closer you get to December 1st, the lower the prorated dues will be on your 2025 points.
