Banked Points Question

Using the following as an example:

50 points banked from 2005 Use Year to 2006 Use Year
150 points allotted for 2006 Use Year

When I make a reservation for a 2006 Use Year, does Member Services automatically use up the banked points first and then dip into the newly allotted points or do I have tell them to do that?

In my experience MS always has used banked points first. Sometimes they have even asked whether I wanted to bank points from the previous year when making reservations in the following year. However, it never hurts to ask as a cross-check.

It's always a good idea to double-check each transaction before you hang up with MS. That way, if you have any questions, you can get them answered right away. I've had a couple of times when I had to get something clarified. I haven't found an MS mistake yet, but I was sure unclear on a few things on several occasions (We have 3 families who use the account and it gets confusing at times.)
