If someone has points from UY October 2003 that have been banked don't these points have to be used by October 2005? Are there any other options available so the points wouldn't have to be lost if not used by October 2005? Any info out there would be helpful.

Actually, they have to be used by Sept 30, 2005. Now, maybe someone else who knows more about this will post, but I THINK you can deposit them into II and they will be good for another year or two. Can someone else clarify this a bit?

Also, consider renting them out, and then when you want points, you could use the money to rent from someone...it's like points that "never expire"!!!

Beca is right, they would have to be used by September 30, 2005. Call your guide and ask about banking into II, because I seem to remember something changing about that recently. Your other option would be to rent points out.

Use for DCL, CC, DC, etc. You can bank with II but do so soon if that is your choice. And as noted, you could rent them out which is likely your best option. You could also try to "trade" with another member to use your points now in return for maybe a few less later.

If it works the same as with my other timeshare, you deposit your points into II, and have to take another timeshare in trade sometime within the next two years. It's really unusual to get DVC from II, but you would certainly make someone else happy.

II is Interval International, an exchange company.

What does it mean to "bank into II"?
II is Interval International, a timeshare exchange company. In this case you'd have up to 2 years to secure an exchange and complete the travel. It is a little complicated and if you do, make sure you deposit a high enough season for the type of exchange you need.
