Bank/Use/Borrow points question

I have a small contact at BCV...I want to make a reservation for May of 07 using these points..the UY is August.
Should I bank the 06 points in Aug?? Can I use them for the May 07 trip if they are banked??
Or should I let them ride....then borrow what is needed from Aug 07 use yr to complete the May trip??
I am having mid-day brain freeze..thanks for help

May of 2007 is within your 2006 Use Year (August 1m 2006 - July 31, 2007), so they can be used without banking them (and if you do bank them, you would have to borrow from your 2007 points for that trip).

If those points won't complete your May reservation, you can borrow from your August, 2007 UY points.
