bank points before make reservation?

If I have 50 points from Sept 08 UY and I will need to use those points to make a reservation for Dec 09, do I have to bank those point BEFORE I make the reservation, or can MS do it at the same time--i.e. at 9 AM tomorrow on the same phone call--or should I bank them first online---and if I do it online (say at 8 AM), how long does it take to show up--by 9 AM? thanks, Elaine

Banking and borrowing can be processed by MS when you make your new reservation.

Same time as making ressie but still two step process, when you call make sure you bank first and then make ressie using banked points

You can do it with one call to MS. When you call go ahead and bank points then make your reservation. They should know, but make sure to tell them to use banked points first.

You can also bank your points online through DVCmember.com. I was surprised at how quickly it was done. I saw my banking right away and it saved valuable time with MS when I was trying to book my Chrismas room at AKV.
