I recieved in the mail today a Disney postcard stating "Attention Bank One cardmember"( I don't recall being a Bank One card holder- but then again I had done a credit card shuffle a few years ago). Anyways it is for 8/29-9/29 2004. It states value resorts from $49.00. It gives a code- one that I have not seen before on any of the boards and you do have to give a pin#.
So for anyone still waiting for a Sept. code -there is still hope.
:wave2:

Yes, I got the same one too, yesterday. Values at $49 for Sept. If you're looking for a mod or deluxe, I'd still call. Lots of times they give you them at a reduced rate as well.

Since I have the Disney card, I assume it was sent to all card holders.

I have a Disney Bank One card and did not receive a postcard.

Wow, Disney is really blitzing the market with discounts for September! Has anyone heard if bookings are way down? What's the story?

We got the post card also.

The postcard does have a pin. We got one as well.

We have been blitzed with the Disney marketing for September!!!! Both my fiancée and I EACH got a postcard, I got the E-Mail, and she got the Disney Visa postcard! We used one of our two postcards, but the rest are absolutely useless to us. I REALLY wish we could transfer them to you guys who need them! :(

A word of caution about this new Disney Visa postcard: I can check, but I believe if you're going to use it, you have to use your Disney Visa to pay your deposit.

I didn't get one. As a matter of fact being a Disney Visa cardholder from day 1 don't get alot of those offers others seem to get. We live in FL. I think it's in their computer that we go all the time anyways so we don't get discounts cause they figure we'll go anyways. The Disney Visa not what I thought would be. Not alot of discounts. Disney club was much better.

I also got the Disney Visa postcard, but the code is good until only the end of September. I called to see if they would be willing to extend the deal as I was hoping to get down later in October, but "Sunset" told me that they don't extend the dates as that is when value season ends. RATS! The first time I ever get a postcard deal and I can't use it!!

Sunset did mention that she thought more codes might be coming out at the end of August for the month of October so maybe there is hope! So keep your eyes open for the end of August for more codes maybe to come!

Has anyone applied the Bank One discount code to an existing reservation? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get one of the postcards since I seem to be out of luck for one (or an email) from Disney. However, if this can't be applied to an existing reservation, I'm not sure if I'd use it unless I could get the same resort and room type or better with this and still save money (or come out even with a room upgrade).

Thanks,
Lisa

I have a feeling you'd be able to do this. Most postcards can be used on an existing reservation.

Have you paid it off entirely? If not, just make a payment with your Disney Visa. Otherwise, maybe they'd just ask for you account number.

I remember when the Disney Visa 7 for 4 came out, they were able to verify people booking the package against a list Bank One had given Disney - so I should imagine they'd be able to verify you as a Bank One cardholder.

Good luck!

Thanks, SnackyStacky. So far, I've only paid the deposit of 1 night. I've been considering paying more with the Disney Visa. I just didn't want to get stuck in a loophole that required the full amount to be charged to the Disney Visa (although the CC I did use is also Bank One, just not Disney). I'll continue to hope for the postcard and see if it works. If not, the AZZ discount is still a very decent rate.

I doubt the postcard rate can beat Florida resident rates.
