We will at Seaworld and Busch Gardens while these events are going on. We will be travelling with our 14 and 16 year old sons. Can anyone share their experience and let me know if you think its worth including during our visit. Also curious how crowded the parks will be during this time.

Thanks so much.

The concerts are included as part of the shows for the day. They last about an hour to hour and half . The stadium is generally full for the concert so the rest of the park is not really busy. Depending on the artist, people will start lining up one or more hours before the stadium seating is opened so also takes numbers out of the other shows and rides in the rest of the park.

They will have a BBQ all you can eat BBQ meal set up somewhere in the park( has changed and not sure where it will be this year-probably in the picnic area .
they will also set up a lot of food booths to get just the BBQ ribs or sandwiches etc.

We go every year and the concerts have never been a disappointment. It is sort of a friendly atmosphere for the performers. A lot of times they bring their families and you may see them out in the parks before or after the concert.

Definitely worth a trip to the park if you like the performers.

Sea World had the all you can eat BBQ along with some BBQ booths up until 2010,last year they removed the all you can eat buffet, which is a huge shame and changed to only booths, one is a Sea World booth while the rest are outside BBQ restaurants. They also added a beer garden where you get to try many different beers for like $20.Busch Gardens never had the all you can eat buffet, they had booths themed to BBQ from different regions of the US,this of course can change this year. The concert at Sea World is at the Bayside stadium and over at Busch Gardens is at Gwazi park, the shows will probably be around 1 1/2 hours and another change they added this year is that Sea World will have the event Saturdays and Sundays,in past years it was Sea World on Saturday and Busch on Sunday, now you have an extra day at Sea World. If you plan it just right you can catch 4 groups in 3 days if you can also head over to Universal for Mardi Gras on Saturday. You can catch a group at Busch Gardens during the day for their Real Music concert series at the Stanleyville theater on Friday,go to Bands Brew and BBQ at Sea World on Saturday, stay for the concert and rush over to Universal to catch the parade and concert at Mardi Gras, then on Sunday pick between Sea World and Busch.I've done this the last couple of years and the only negative is I'm still mad they removed the all you can eat buffet at Sea World.

Here is the concert line up for SeaWorld:

Saturday, February 11: Foreigner
Sunday, February 12: Gary Allan
Saturday, February 18: Trace Adkins
Sunday, February 19: Kenny Rogers
Saturday, February 25: Doobie Brothers
Sunday, February 26: Ronnie Dunn
Saturday, March 3: Sara Evans
Sunday, March 4: Scotty McCreery

And Busch Gardens:

Sunday,Feb 12: Lynyrd Skynyrd
Sunday,Feb 19: Bret Michaels
Sunday,Feb 26: .38 Special
Sunday,March 4: REO Speedwagon

Pretty good line-up I must say..

There is a VIP $30 ticket that apparently gets you a meal and seating in some reserved area for the concert, has anyone done that?
Also whats the crowd like at the beer gardens? are there a bunch of intoxicated college kids walking around?. I admit the selection of beers sound interesting.
