I know the big promo is for the 50$, all you can eat buffet, quick queue, and reserved seating.

But 50$ is not an option. I found online the 15$ all you can eat buffet option. Do you think it's worth it? And what exactly is on the buffet line? Can I still do this option in the park or is this an online only deal?

I've never gone to it, and I really would like to go to it. And I've been having bad cravings for BBQ lately. I broke down and got some ribs at voyagers and spent 10$ alone on that. So for a few bucks more I can have all I want and free soda... well it sounds really really good.

Now I just have to figure out which day I want to go. I'll probably show up every weekend, but which day do I want to pig out??

Yes you can only do the BBQ buffet for like $15 and unless something's changed from last year you can just walk up to buy the buffet. You pay then you walk to their pavillions area and you'll see the food placed in several tables, last year there were burgers, hot dogs, ribs, brisket chicken, salmon with tons of different sides, basically there was nothing missing, amazing deal. After you get your food you choose which pavillions to sit at,at the pavillion entrance there's huge coolers with water and sodas just sitting there for you to grab so you can get a soda as you eat and then grab a water as you leave. They also had some desserts inside the pavillion, rice krispy treats, cookies and brownies. We paid like $13 with our AP discount and just thought it was an amazing offer,we'll be back this year. After we ate we saw the Hall and Oates concert with a pretty decent seat, too bad they're not there this year. They also had food stands selling individual BBQ items in the walkways by the theater where they have the concert, they were priced in the $7-$10 range without drinks so it just didn't make sense to me why would you get these when with just a couple of more bucks gets you into the pavillions area for the all you can eat and drink deal. They also have Bands Brew and BBQ days at Busch Gardens, don't know how the setup is there as I've only been to the ones at Sea World, maybe I can do both this year.

You're making me hungry!!!

I'm gonna try to go saturday, but I think I'll wait till next week for the buffet.

And I don't think I'll try to go over to Busch Gardens... too much of a hassle. And I'd rather do that with some one than go alone.

The menu for the buffet picnic is now on the website. It is $15.95 for adults and $8.95 for kids. It is all you can eat, but only for the time that you are in the picnis area, you can not leave and come back at a later time. The picnic is set up from 11:30 - 4:00.

Oh, and for anyone that was wanting to go tomorrow (the 6th) LeAnn Rimes had to cancel due to illness. Zac Brown Band will be there instead.

Well, RATS! I love the Zack Brown Band and have to work tomorrow! Figured I have to work 1 Saturday a month and had no desire to see LeAnn so I offered to work this weekend. :sad1:

That sounds sooo good. I want. But I don't have enough money for this week. Maybe next weekend.

I was thinking of heading over there today. But there's so many different things I wanted to get done today... and i don't know where to start.

so i messed on the busses and didn't get here till 4. I heard the last two songs walking in the gate. But they have a small stage with a band that does cover songs.
The smell is driving me nuts because they still serve along the walk ways.... Next weekend i want to get here early and pig out. I saw people walking out of the gates with mounds of food. It was insane.

Since I've only done the Sea World Bands Brew and BBQ last year I don't know exactly how it works at Busch Gardens,I looked up the information to see if they have the all you can eat Buffet, what I found was a menu with different items of BBQ from different regions,no mention of the all you can eat deal.I called this morning and was told Busch Gardens doesn't have the all you can eat buffet, only individual items for sale like they have in outside the buffet area in Sea World. If anybody has gone can you tell me for sure as I was planning on doing Busch this year as I think I preferred some of the concerts to Sea World's.

Sounds as if i could make a go of this as well!!

Just out of interest, how do you know which band is playing on the day you are planning to visit SW? Have followed the link posted above, but doesn't seem to give any info on bands.

Also wondering if you would get 10% discount if you have a SW Annual Pass?

After we ate we saw the Hall and Oates concert with a pretty decent seat, too bad they're not there this year.

We managed to see H&O last April at Clearwater when we were over in the USA - too bad as you say if they aren't back at SW this year :sad1:

Yes you get a discount for the buffet, which appears to only be at Sea World. They both have concerts but Busch Gardens seems to only have individual BBQ items for sale instead of the all you can eat deal. Here's the concert line up.

Sea World:

Feb 13: Montgomery Gentry
Feb 20: John Rich of Big and Rich
Feb 27: Yes

Busch Gardens:

Feb 14 Willie Nelson
Feb 21: Huey Lewis & the News
Feb 28: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo

Thanks for the quick reply. We're not going until early August, so I guess the line up won't be available until nearer the time.

This is just a February thing. They don't have Band Brew and BBQ all year long so there won't be bands in August.During the summer they will do the SW night time shows like Sealions Tonite, Shamu Rocks, etc.

In March they have Viva la Musica at SW and Real Music Series at Busch Gardens.

Ah - shame about that. Guess we'll just have to look forward to Sealions tonight etc!!

MMMMM.... the thought of BBQ....

So I messed up last weekend and didn't make it there. But I HAVE to make it tomorrow, I've been waiting weeks to get it.

Now if only this weather would warm up just a bit.

Hope you get there today......wish I didn't have to work!

We opted for the pulled pork sandwiches from one of the stands for lunch last week. They were so much better than we got last year. For dinner we ate at Voyagers to get out of the cold and got the sampler platters. Everything was delicious. Cheesecake was awesome, too! Hot chocolate was my drink for the day. I think I had 4. LOL

yay. I made it here nice and earrly, and i still got two free pretzels at the florida mall. Today is good

So how was the concert? Did you like the BBQ? You were going to try the all you can eat buffet.

I have to work again next Saturday so only had the chance to see 1 concert. I really missed out this year.

I did the all you can picnic. I was dissappointed in the chicken. But the ribs and pulled pork was good. I actually had two huge plates of salad.

The concert was really good. And highly entertaining. He had a newly wed couple come up on stage to personally sing a song to them. And even took a beer from some guy sitting in the audience and gave it to them (as their champagne toast). And then half way through made them have a huge make out scene. Defiantly not G rated. He also got some lady come up and give a kiss on the lips to this guy (who was a midget).

Did the Bands,Brew and BBQ this past weekend Saturday at Sea World and Sunday at Busch Gardens, what a difference in days, last year I did it at Sea World with the Hall and Oates concert with beautiful weather and it was absolutely packed, there were people eating at all of the pavillions with the buffet tables outside. This year there were maybe 30-40 people eating at a time in one pavillion with the tables inside the same pavillion and the few of us there eating in 50 degree temperatures with cloudy skies and light rain, they even had to hold the YES concert at the Nautilus stadium. The next day at Busch Gardens you couldn't have hoped for better weather,65 degrees without a cloud in the sky,no buffet but we sampled a few different BBQ's,tried the Carolina and Memphis stands. The actual meats were much better than what we had the day before at Sea World. The park was packed so when we headed to Gwazi Park for the Pat Benatar concert we had to settle for sitting in the first grass berm, which was OK.Overall a great time at both events even though the weather wasn't great at Sea World.
