Has anyone done this? We're planning to book on this year.

Which company would anyone recommend and what are your thought?

We did this in '98. Can't give any recommendations for a company as we booked through Virgin, but it was worth every penny.

We had to get up very early (5am) and it was slightly hazy when we set off. But once the haze lifted and we were in the air the views were superb - we got some excellent views of the Epcot resorts and MGM from the air - albeit from some distance. I don't think they can guarantee that you will get close enough for the views over Disney property, but we were quite lucky.

Definitely worth doing if you get the chance.

Definitely do it (it's the best ride in town) and definitely go with Orange Blossom Balloons, one of the most reliable companies in town (and British-owned and run, too!). Look them up at www.orangeblossomballoons.com and head off for the most memorable flight of your life.

I totally agree with simon v i booked orange blossom balloons for my husbands 50th last november. It was fantastic, Richard and his crew are first class professionals with a lot of humour thrown in. We had a fantastic couple of hours altogether. We flew over celebration, skirted around disney but saw the castle and epcot quite well. I booked them by internet and they replied to all my questions by email with no problems. No money changes hands until the flight is over. We are still talking about it to friends now and the photos of the sunrise and out of this world.

Would we use them again MOST definately.

I saw your notes and thought I would give you an update. We try to get in a flight every year and used to fly with orange blossom but they got bought up by orlando ballooning or something and Richard is gone and their best pilot Jeff is now running his own company Thompson Aire. So we stuck with the best pilot we have ever flown with and have always had a great flights.
