Balloon Flight?

Has anyone done one whilst visiting Florida?, have looked at a couple of websites that look reasonable but would love to hear from someone with real experience

Yes we have done this twice now and it is a magnificant experience.
You flight it somewhat determined on the day as it is dependant on the wind.
Our second flight did take us across Disney somewhat and it was great to see the MK and AK from the air.

we have booked this,for our trip in oct.
we have booked through thompsonaire.com.
this was after recommendations on here.it is $180 each,but if you have children under 9,it is 1 free,per paying adult,which i don't think is too bad.we are taking our 2 grandchildren with us.
the guy,whos company it is,used to be a hot air balloon state champ,from reading on the web site.
the web site,has loads of information on & tells you everything,you need to know.
the only thing putting me off,is the early start.6a.m sharp!

First flight was with Orange blossom and we flew with a guy called Jeff Thompson who was an excellent pilot. The second flight was with the same pilot but he now has his own company Thompsonaire quick search will find him. He is very helpful and a real good laugh, and will put you at ease should you have any worries. one of the reasons we booked him for the 2nd trip as one of our party was very nervous.

We flew with Orange Blossom Balloons back in December 2004 and loved it! Our pilot was Jeff Thompson and, as stated previously, he has now set up a business of his own.

We have always wanted to do this again but most companies will not let children fly if they are under 5 years old. Now that DD is old enough, we're going to "fly" again (maybe next April).
