In looking at All Stars rooms in brochures, it looks as if they have a balcony that you can walk out onto. Is this true, and if so, is that for all the rooms?

It's really just a walkway, shared by all but I have seen people pull their chairs out on it and people watch.

None of the value or moderate resorts have private balconies, it is a outside hallway that leads to the rooms. Think of a typical motel set up with outside doorways, and that is excatly the set up. All of the value and moderate resorts are very nice resorts but do not have a balcony. I have also seen people pull their chairs outside to the walkway and sit, relax, enjoy the beautiful atmosphere etc while the kids are sleeping inside the room. You can leave the door ajar by reversing the safety bar/lock inside the door which gives you enough opening to hear the kids but not enough outside light or noise enters the room to keep the kids awake.

When we would drive we packed folding porch chairs and we used them at night to relax while the kids wound down and went to sleep. It wasn't too bad at the POR there really weren't many people walking by us and the folks who did were very nice and some even chatted a bit. I didn't want to move the furniture ut of the room so I was glad we had our own chairs.
