Baking Bacon

Ever bake bacon in the oven?

Nope! I've cooked it in the microwave though! Not as good as cooking it on the stove!

Yes I have, it's the way most restaurants do it, and its the safer way to do if your not wearing a shirt.

No but I've always wanted to try. That's the worst thing to cook in my opinion. I always get splattered.

My Fi does it all the time, so much better than the microwave. The bacon stays staight and crispy.

I have never heard of baking bacon! What temp, how long, and on what? Doesn't it splatter in the oven as well?

DH bakes on a rack over a cookie sheet. This removes most of the grease and not the taste.
Gonna have this with your precooked eggs???

I cook the bacon at about 350 degrees until it is crispy.

Never baked in an oven, but I have deep fried it.
Nothing like deep frying greese.

If you have parchment paper (you can find it in the super markets) you can place the bacon between 2 sheets of it in a pan or deep cookie sheet (so all the grease doesnt spill out)
