Baked ziti

I made baked rigatoni last week. Am I the only one who doesn't layer the ingredients? I drain the pasta then put it back in the pot, add the mozz and ricotta, sauce and ground beef and mix well. Then pour into a casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes. It's one of my favorite meals. Oh, and I made 2 pounds of pasta so there can be lots of leftovers.

I just mix all mine and dump it in the casserole dish.

Mine is from the Pioneer Woman. (Except for the Prego instead of making my own sauce. "Use your favorite Italian spices." If I knew what spices, I wouldn't be reading a dang recipe!! :rotfl2:) She layers pasta/cheese/sauce mix with a layer of more sauce and cheese, then repeat.

Baked ziti is a staple where I live. Pasta, sauce (homemade), ricotta (usually with an egg), and mozzarella. No meat! Mix and bake.
