I can get a great rate through Hotel Kingdom(have never used this web site) and I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and what they thought of the resort. Thanks so much!!

We're staying there in June. It seems like a nice place. They also have a website if you haven't seen pictures. From the research that i"ve done: nice, farther from Disney than they claim closer to 20 minutes away. desk service is not particularly friendly or helpful. Condos, pools and restaurant are nice. I went to a travel site and read posts from previous visitors. Overall, good reviews. A few bad comments included: room not clean enough, desk help not friendly, condos not sound proof enoug, hard to find. Good comments: nice rooms, clean and quiet location, beautiful grounds, gated resort, nice restaurant, friendly staff, worth the money, will return.

There is now a road open to reduce the travelling time and avoid the 27 when getting to 192 from BB.My home is just close to BB and it rarely takes me 20 mins to get to the parks area - only at really busy times.
To use the new road turn left out of BB then at the junction turn left again.
You can choose one of 3 routes.
Either go straight over into Avalon Road and then use the west entrance to Disney by following signs for 429 .
Turn righ at 192 and use the Sherberth Road turnoff.
Turn right beofre you hit 192 -this is Funie Steed and will bring you out at Formosa Gardens if you turn left at the crossroads you will come across
Itreally depends where you are heading as each one has its advantages.

In the area by BB there is now an Applebees open just suth at Sand Mine Road just before the Publix there.Also a new eating place called Kopellies which had had some good reviews from local friends.This is in addition to the other restaurants that are already along 27
