Ime a little confused as to wether i should have a bum bag or back pack in the parks. I will take money, camera ,camcorder (small one), Are you able to take bags on rides, if not are there secure lockers at each ride that you can drop it off.

Love some advice Thankyou Marv

My husband and I used a waist pack (bum bag) I carried the tickets, money and a few snacks. My husband carried the camcorder and camera with film. It worked out great . Didn't have to really worry about finding a locker or while on the rides. However, we did put the camcorder and camera in ziplocs for the water rides. And with 2 young kids it worked out great!:listen: :happy1:

There are not lockers at each attraction.

The rides do not dump at the same place that they load at. So, it is not possible to leave your stuff on the floor, etc when you load a ride and then collect it when you finish. You can take bags on all rides and some even have a pocket where you can store it. I suggest streamlining as much as possible. Take as little as you can get away with. For me, it is easier to be able to put everything in one bag rather than trying to keep up with several different items.

My husband and I each had a backpack and since we have older children (12 and 10)we went on all the wet and wild rides. We never once worried about it. Even on the whitewater rafting ride, there was a central "bin" with a plastic cover that everyone put their stuff in. On the rollercoasters, we put our bags under our legs, etc. Never a problem........just bring what you don't mind hauling all day.

I wondered the same before our trip last year and I wasn't too convinced taking a bag on the rides would be practical. But we took our bag on all the rides including ToT and RNRC without any problems. I put my legs through the straps and it was OK. The rides don't load like they do in England like at Alton Towers so you have to take your bags with you. However the rides are not as extreem as at Alton Towers so bags are not a problem.
I personally would take a bag rather than a bum bag as you can fit waterproofs, camcorders etc in there as well.

Thankyou all for your help and advice i have been out and bought a bum bag for my husband and a cross over shoulder bag for my self i should fit every thing we need in them. All the kids have thier
small back packs for drink money and all those little extras they may decide to take.

Thanks Again Marv
