Since I read about not being able to carry bags on rides, I am planning to go without. Usually I carry a small bag and we all throw our sunglasses in it for some of the Disney rides. If we wear croakies on the glasses will we be allowed to keep them on for all the rides?

I've never been asked to remove my prescription eyeglasses and have worn them on everything there I believe. A word of caution though, if the glasses you plan to wear don't fit well, you do run the risk of them flying off on a handful of attractions.

I wore the croakies type glasses strap and love it....then in line at WDW I saw someone wearing these....It's called Cablz, and I was instantly a believer!!! They are so much lighter than croakies, dont absorb sweat and such:scared:, and have just been great. oh, and once you put them on, they stay!!! NEVER SLIP OFF!!

I was able to find them at Academy for about $10.00. i'm a fireman and wear my sunglasses all day long, and i can vouchfor these. 2 trips to WDW and a Colorado trip......I've never lost my glasses!!:thumbsup2 The website is http://www.cablz.com/

p.s.: apparently they have a pink line for women now too!!

I wore my glasses on every ride - no issue at all.

I also wore this waist bag on every ride and was stopped ONE time only on MIB and then sent through as OK.

No shoulder bags no across the body bags - just small waist bags.

I'm guessing it got through the FJ queue as well? I'm surprised, as it's a little larger than a normal fanny pack and doesn't have a 3-prong clip.

Actually it really lays flat against the waist and I got on every ride - rode em all for 5 days. :thumbsup2

I bring a zipper pouch--the kind you get at conferences with your name tag that I wear around my neck or double loop it to my wrist or tie to my shorts belt loop.

It's amazing what I can cram into that thing--room key, park ticket, credit card, sunglasses, small tube of pain reliever, band aids, hand sanitizer, mints, park maps, etc.

It easily slips under my shirt or in my pocket or is secure on my wrist on any ride...
