I don't think this is mean-spirited. It's fun.
And it needs more pictures. Here are a couple from my camera:

Wait a minute - that's MY son!![]()
He was 12 years old when we were there. I took him shopping before our vacation and made sure he had SOLID colored shirts to go with his beloved plaid shorts. He also had solid colored shorts to go with his striped shirts. You know the old saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him have fashion sense." I commented on his outfits, but he just doesn't care. We were there for a week and these are the only 2 outfits he wore. He managed to not smell bad, so I let him wear what he wanted to wear.![]()
He looks like he is wearing comfy clothes in my book.
As Rodney Dangerfield said, its called the "Regular Guy Look".
I wear sneakers and socks with my capri pants. I go for comfort, comfort, comfort in the parks. I wear my Nikes at all times while in WDW, well minus bedtime.
I am actually a little envious of the ladies that can wear heels all day. I'm pretty tall so I've never owned heels until about a month ago and I must say walking in them is an entirely different experience than walking in flats or Nikes.
