I agree with Dean that the documents say that guests may receive some of the DVC benefits - not that they definitely will get the same perks. I'm going from memory also but it's something I specifically looked up a year or two ago. Like most things it's not specific as to what they may receive so I don't think it's possible to say they took anything away that was previously guaranteed.
