Bad News Can Be Good News?

At least 2 members of my church who were deployed are back in the US. One seriously hurt his back during an explosion and is expected to fully recover (he's in Washington state right now). The other had to have some kind of eye surgery (didn't get the whole story) but he was in church this morning (with sunglasses and his son). While it's bad news that they were injured, it's good news that they are back home!

I bet it was good to see both of them again. However, I have a feeling that they both feel very torn right now. I've heard where people that have been sent home for one reason or another really feel like this is not where they are meant to be right now.

I'm glad your friends are back again.

I'm glad they are alright. I imagine their hearts are still in Iraq with their comrades in arms and at the same time they are happy to be back in their church again.
