Bad Kitten!!! Anyone have a very mischievous cat? Ours has gone too far!

My mom just got a new kitten, well he's 8 months now and his name is Heratio. Forget it, we call him Feratio because he is so darn ferocious :scared1: He has done nothing but pilage and plunder since she brought him home. He has broken numerous china objects, ripped down wallpaper, and bit and scratched since day one. He is cute as a button, mind you, but has the personality of a cobra. We (her grown children) told her NOT to take this particular kitten as he was a bit too active :Pinkbounc , but did she listen? Noooooo!! Now she is stuck with the cat from hell. The craziest just happened recently...

My mom is a Catholic and she has some statues of saints with holy water that she blesses herself with with she prays. The cat knocked the heads off of two of the statues then proceeded to drink the holy water!! :rolleyes1 . Yup, every last drop. She was hoping this would actually help him, you know kind of act like an exorcist on him. Didn't seem to work though :rotfl2:

What cute kittens they were and I agree that you can see the mischief in their grown up eyes!! :)

My one cat is such a terror that if she doesn't get her way, she will start tapping the trash can lid and will knock it over if you don't move to get what she wants!! Yes, she always wins and gets what she wants....not sure who has who trained here! ;) Alot of times I just put the trash can in the pantry, but then she finds something else to knock over or knock off somewhere to get my attention. If I yell at her, she usually comes running towards me and jumps on my lap, as if to say.....it wasn't me doing it....really...oh, if I didn't love her so much....she be in the kitty stew too!! :teeth:

My mom's cat is named Elvira-Kitty of the Dark. She is solid black and was brought home around halloween. Her new trick... she is a theif. She has learned how to steal money out of my mom's purse. She takes dollar bills out and hids them. I guess she is trying to save for some new toys or something.

My cats Mischief and Trouble are pretty good. Trouble will rub across DH till he wakes up if their bowl is empty. They know not to bother me as I know that a few hours of an empty bowl is not going to make them starve to death.

Mischief did wack my DD in the head when she was picking on her. I think she was petting her to roughly. No claws were used but it still worked to teach a lesson.

Now my sister's cat on the other hand is the saint of all cats. He gets dragged around by her kids and they lay all over him and hold him down. He could care less. To him attention is attention no matter how if comes. But his act of mischief comes in the middle of the night when he has a romp with the dog's stuffed toys or the kids tickle me Elmo. We will never forget hearing Elmo say "Elmo not ticklish there" and then giggle.

But without the cats we would be missing on free entertainment. They are too funny when they get on a roll!!

These stories are so funny! Emme, I had to laugh at that holy water! Our free entertainment is costing us a lot with my DD's computer repair, but I do suppose the kitties are worth it. I'll have to say that our 4 cats are easier than our 2 dogs. :)

Does drinking from the tap when we run the bath water for DD count?

(Actually I just wanted to post a pic of my cute kitty)

Have you thought of a cat cage? A girl I know ended up using one, her kitty actually chilled out--ALOT!

And your DD should be happy it was easy and relatively inexpensive to fix. The son of a friend of mine had his cat pee on his keyboard. Luckily it wasn't a laptop--can you imagine if it was?

We have 2 brothers, Malibu and Dakota... Mali was the one always getting into trouble when they were kittens, now it's Dakota's turn. He learned how to open the hutch door and pull the paper towels out to use as a scratching post.

Last Christmas, I left their presents in the kitchen. When I came back from dinner, my kitchen was covered in catnip. Let me tell you, my great Dyson vacuum cleaner was no match for the catnip!!!

I had to go a week without my laptop because when they were racing around the livingroom, they jumped on my keyboard so hard, they jarred a card loose! Bad Kitties!!! I didn't tell Circuit City they had jumped on the laptop!

jfulcer, pretty kitty!

My DD has to bring the computer back to college unfixed since the part didn't come in. CompUSA never called her to tell her the part wasn't in, even though on Tuesday they told her it would take 1 day to come in and they wouldn't answer their phone when she tried to call them several times during the week. Thankfully last weekend she'd bought a keyboard to use with her laptop (how's that for thinking ahead before the problem even happened? :) ) so at least she can still use her computer and she will have to have it fixed when she's home next time.

I'm hoping that since these kitties are nearing a year old that they will stay playful, but stop getting into so many things. Yeah, right... :rotfl2: I can dream, right? :teeth:

Bad kitty went to my son's laptop this morning and pulled off the arrow keys and one letter key. He reattached the letter key and we'll work on the number key. It's my old laptop, so not big deal, but shows the diablo is on a mission and we really do have to watch our laptops and it wasn't just a fluke with DD's laptop. She's trouble!!! I might have to rethink this vegetarian diet... ;)
