Curious to hear about any bad experiences you may have had with DME luggage delivery service. Have you ever returned to your room late at night to find one (or more) of your bags are missing? Has the delivery ever taken significantly longer than the 3-4 hours they estimate? What happens if the airline loses your luggage?
We usually take a late flight in and claim our own bags, but will be taking an early flight in next trip and are considering using this service for the first time. We'll be checking into the resort around 11-11:30am and won't be back to the room until 10-11pm. I'm nervous about there being an issue and having that much time elapse before it's addressed. If DME luggage issues occur with any regularity, I might just wait the extra time and collect my own bags.
