Oh dear I had my first weird wedding dream.

It was so odd - I was in a shopping centre there was some groom and his groomsmen (not H2b) slumped against a shop doorway so I tried to help hin up, blink, I'm now in my wedding dress - he says nice dress you getting hitched today too, ha ha jokes etc, blink, with my parents who are really getting on my nerves. No-one seemed to realise that this was my wedding day, blink, another bride with huge gown just spinning at the bottom of an escalator - Dad makes a comment that she has the best dress of all the brides...Hello youngest daughter here in her special dress!!! Blink, now at bottom of road where ceremony is being held (strange dreary road in England) not the beautiful WP. Caos as loads of brides are juming around and being ushered into limos and sent to the chapel. We are talking a conveyer belt. No sign of co-ordinator. I'm big time stressing - my hair is a mess and so for some odd reason I think of floppy sunhat will look better. My dress doesn't fit properly, it's puckered on my belly and the bustle appears to be out in front. Blink, co-ordinator shows up says well dear you should go a grab a car as if I should have known all this. So we all bundle over to some run down old orange rust bucket. My parents jump in leaving me nowhere to sit. I try and climb in and I get my dress caught in my shoe, I scream at my Dad to help to which he yanks the dress ripping the hem. Meanhile the sunhat is now fallen over my face.

At this point I woke up. Mental note to self - do not purchase sunhat for special day!!!!!

Having "wedding dreams" - ok nightmares seems to be pretty normal :)
DD just married in June (DFTW) and she had the same types of crzy dreams!
Just relax, everything does work out and after all your planning if there is a glitch its nothing that can't be adjusted.
You will make a beautiful bride and will have one of the best days of your life :)
Don't worry about us parents either- its one of the best days of our lives as well :)
PS: I'd vote no on the floppy hat too!

I had lots of bad dreams before my special day but the day itself was perfect. I think it was just because I was getting so stressed and couldnt think of much else before the wedding that all I could do was dream about it. I really hope that you get some better nights sleep very soon and less bad dreams pixiedust:

i had a weird wedding dream shortly after we decided to get married in WDW:

we were in the middle of the ceremony at the WP when rob walked out on my in the middle of the ceremony! he just turned around and walked right ouf of the pavilion. no one said a word, no one stopped him. even after i yelled at everyone to stop him. one of his friends, who is married, came running up to the alter, picked up my hand and said, "i'll take over." then the dream was over.

I have been having funky wedding dreams, too. Mine mostly involve us all getting to WDW and not having made any more plans than what I have done right now. Like I some how fast forwarded to October, and I have no place to get hair done, no tuxes, no gifts/favors, no dining ressies, nothing. And I'm upset and panicing and NO ONE understand why. And I can't get anyone to help me. And I keep thinking "how did I let this happen? I ALWAYS plan ahead!"
It's not a nightmare, really - I mean, I'm pretty sure it's a manifestation of the worries I have while I'm awake, about wanting to have everything done already. But it is odd, and I wake up a little feeling nervous and weirded out. My married friends keep telling me it's normal ( :) ) and that it will only get worse from here ( :worried: )

I kept dreaming that I had no shoes to wear on the day, and I had to run out and find a shop open but there were none open!!
I also had dreams of my hair & makeup looking as though I had just gotten out of bed!
It's natural to worry I suppose and these things have an effect on your sleep.
