Backyard BBQ and dining reservations?

I've been checking for a reservations opening for this via the general reservations list on the Disney website, and it's never listed as an option. The only way I can find it is by searching specifically for Backyard BBQ, which leads me to the specific BBQ site, and from there selecting the link to make reservations.

Anyone know why it isn't listed with reservations for other character or special dining on the general reservations page? It would certainly save me a step (as I'm trying for this or a couple other character options).

I would guess it's because they only offer it a few days a week. I had the same problem as you until I realized you could not make an ADR for any day of the week. ETA: Or because it's a dinner show maybe?

It's classified by Disney as a dinner show, not as a character meal.
