Aloha,

Alright so I want to use a backpack while at DL. It's a regular size backpack, but not stuffed with alot of gear. Are bringing Backpacks prohibited on rides, such as "California Screamin" or "Space Mountain", "Radiator Springs Racers"? I know they don't fit in the bag compartment, but can you leave it by your feet...:confused3

I always bring my backpack and I loop my leg in it and set it between my legs. Only ride I don't bring it is Grizzly River Run. I use the lockers for the free hour. (I think it might be free 2 hours)

Same as above but I always have someone else or lock it up on Tower on Terror.

I take mine everywhere... like the PP's said, set it down and stick my leg through one of the straps. I even take it on ToT and GRR... on GRR I kind of wear it backwards and cover it and myself with my poncho! :-)

I also take mine on EVERY ride. Just put my leg through the strap and it's solid. GRR is tricky, so unless it's pretty waterproof or you have a poncho, you might want to rent a locker.

On Grizzly, we wrap our backpack in a plastic garbage bag and set it in the middle of the raft. When we're done riding, we discard the garbage bag. DH has never had to take the backpack on Screamin' because I won't ride that one, but we've taken the pack on everything else.

We do the same thing, but turn the plastic bag inside-out after the ride and keep it for another ride as needed. When we get back to the room we turn dry it out over night. I'm always amazed at people with cameras and stuff to get in Grizzly and then wonder what they're going to do. More than once we've offered to let people put stuff in our bag to keep it dry.

We bring ours on every ride. I shove it behind my legs looped around an ankle if it doesn't fit in the little holder bag provided on some rides. I even take it on TOT. :)
