Backpacks and security/lockers

Our flight is due to arrive on a Saturday around 5pm. Our plan is to spend the evening/night at MK until it closes. Since we're onsite, we have the option of DME.

I'm debating skipping DME (but letting them pick up our bags) and taking an Uber/Lyft directly to MK. The issue is my carry-on backpack - it will have a laptop and an iPad in it for sure. I'm not entirely opposed to carrying it around MK since it isn't too heavy and we'll minimize what else is in the bag.

How would security look at it? Would it be weird to bring a laptop?

Also can someone tell me about the lockers - where are they located? Are there any cast members around? Are they pretty secure? Am I crazy to even consider leaving electronics in it?
