Backlot Express hours

I've seen lots of posts that the Backlot Express is closed at certain times.

But it sounds like the best counterservice in MGM, so we would like to eat there. Does anyone know what their hours are?

Try allearsnet.com and click on Dining on the top and then menus around the middle of the next page. They show all the restaurant menus along with the times for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I didn't see times for Backlot Express or Brown Derby with the menus. I looked in several places on the AllEarsnet site.

Anyone have any other ideas for times or know why the Backlot Express occassionally closes. Does it close between lunch and dinner? We were there on July 2 (VERY busy), and it was closed in the afternoon, probably around 3 p.m. or so. Or could it possibly run out of food and just close.
