Background noise - what are you hearing right now?

I'm hearing NOTHING. Total silence right now. DD is out. DH is working. Dog and cat are fed and sleeping. No TV, no radio. Just quiet. Wow.

What can you hear going on around you right now?

DH and DS are watching the gymnastic trials so I hear the music for that and DD is up sulking in her room and I hear her music as well . . .

I hear you.....the wonderful sound of silence! DH & DS-8 went to the market. DS-11 and DD-6 are watching the Even Stevens Movie. DD-14 left for Confir-Camp this morning, I pick her up Wednesday in NH and DS-15 is with the in laws in Myrtle Beach until July 3rd. It always amazes me how quiet it gets when 1 or 2 are away overnight! But boy do I love it when the come home! Enjoy your peace and quiet.

Coqui, which are the singing tree frogs which are quite loud every night at this time.

crickets , frogs, one of the cats is meowing softly, the hum of the tower under the desk, trucks out on main street,few and far between at the moment,mostly the frogs ,, loudest noise at the moment
