We just got back yesterday from WD. We did 2 character breakfasts-CRT and Cape May Cafe. We arrived at CRT for a PS 10:20 seating and were not seated until 10:50 (the last ones seated). The food was plentiful and overall good esp. the blueberry pastery thing. The kids french toast could have broken a window ( it was so hard). Everything else was good. I felt that the character interaction was rushed. Cindy, Snow White, Belle, Beauty, and Mary Poppins were there. The Fairy Godmother was by far the best!!! My girls decided not to wear their gowns but opted for their "I'm the big, middle and Little sister shirts". The shirts got so much attention, even Cruella yelled at them from the top of her parade float. Overall we enjoyed the breakfast, but will try some thing different next time.
We loved Cape May. We had no PS. We were seated in 5 minutes. The food was good and hot. The characters couldn't be beat!!! They came around several times and spent lots of time. We will go back. We saw Chip, Dale, Goofy and Minnie in beach attire-very cute. Any questions?

Hi - thanx for the reviews...

I have cape may booked so it was great to hear a good report. Did you notice if they had "cheese blintzes" on the buffet?

About CRT - the menu must have changed - when we went last summer it was pancakes and bacon for the kids... and the adults recieved the cheese danish french toast... also - I don't remember a blueberry pastry... we had chocolate muffins and croissants instead.

I don't know about the cheese blintzes. What do they look like? I had Mickey waffles, bacon, potatoes, sausage, strawberries, and a donut. My kids had waffles, pancakes, watermelon, grapes and donuts. My hubby had eggs, bacon, grits..... All was good. There was a lot of different items to choose from. We only scratched the surface. We've eaten at Crystall Palace, Chef Mickey's and CRT; but this was my favorite because of lots of choices and the characters were so attentive.

At CRT, the adults had this patery stuffed with cream cheese filling(I think) and covered in blueberries. It was fabulous. The french toast was way overcooked and my toddler couldn't eat it. We also had bacon, sausage, eggs... and a basket with muffins and croissants. The blueberry pastery was on the hot plate that we received.

Hi again.. the menu at CRT is different then - our cream cheese french toast came with an apple topping - not a blueberry one.. and we definately had pancakes, not french toast.

The cheese blintzes are like rolled crepes with a cottage cheese filling, usually topped with fruit or sour cream.. someone said they were on the buffet a few weeks ago - they were in a large skillet.

These things are to die for - I hope they are still there when I arrive

Yummy. There was so much stuff that I'm not sure, but I think you will love it. Let me know.

Blueberry topping on the cream cheese french toast sounds really good. We did the PSB breakfast this time and the waffles there were very dry. Cape may sounds good for breakfast. It seems worth a try for my next trip. Thanks for the reviews.

A little while ago (ok in '01) they had peach topping on the french toast. Lenny, the head chef, was on a bit of a peach thing...everything had peaches!!

We have to try Cape May for breakfest. It sounds fantastic! We have tried the evening buffet several times and have never been disapointed.

Thanks for the reviews. I made PS for Cape May Cafe breakfast since we are staying at the Dolphin. Now I am soooo excited!
We did CRT last time. It was great to go there once, but I won't be up dialing at 6am anytime soon.

Thank you for the reviews.

We are doing both of these next month.

I am a little worried about CRT with the blueberries thing...I can not stand blueberries!! LOL

We decided to do the Cape May breakfast at the last minute, sounds like a blast!

We watched our videos last night from CRT. Be careful where you seat your children for taping. We made the mistake of putting their backs to the window, so they would be on the outside and the princesses could reach them. Their faces are in the shadows in some of the tape. Just wanted to clue people in to watch the lighting in the castle.
