Saw the doc tonite........the MRI showed the disc herniated a slight bit more then the april MRI but not interfering with the nerve or spinal canal......so NO surgery .......I wanted to jump up and down.....but just sat there......SMILING>.......
So.....rest, ice, muscle relaxers......and time.......
But I am glad it is not a SERIOUS ailment! I have a pin meet this weekend, darn it! :bounce:

Good for your back. I think. Small consolation if it still hurts.
Guess I am in the opposite with my herinated neck disk. It is digging into my spinal cord and I have nerve damage. But I don't hurt!
:)

Lynne, glad you don't have to have surgery. That is good news. Hoep your back conitues to feel better. We must all be about the same age & beginning to fall apart :)!

Glad to hear it Lynnie! I'll see you this weekend!!

Good news, Lynne,
Follow the doctors orders ( rest , ice, lie around; try not to sit or lift).Let someone else carry your heavy pin bags, LOL. Can you type on your computer from a prone position? My husband was flat on his back for 58 days with a ruptured disc some years ago. It takes time, but it will heal.
Take care,
Penny

That is good to hear. Have a good time at the pin meet... Make sure you have Matt or Lauri carry your pins... That is one of the Mods dutys:)

Whatever it takes to make it all better!

I am truly looking forward to meeting you this sunday in Philadephia.

If you like, I'll bring extra packing tape and super glue to hold you together. :D
